Ecstatic Dance to DJ ANICA (she/her) is a wonderful tool to come closer to oneself. It allows to discover the power and movement in the body, but also the stillness, both in body and mind, and to explore the many nuances of joy, sadness, and other emotions of the heart. For many years of her life, Anica has travelled, intrigued by what this globalized world is about, to understand different landscapes, the colourfulness of culture, and the reason for so much inequality. The most fascinating to her however is what makes all of us humans equal: the ability to move and to feel onto the sound of music. During her sets, Anica weaves those influences from all over the world into colourful sets, that celebrate diversity, and that honoures what unites us all: our journey through this world, on the dancefloor, towards ourselves. Amsterdam based, live controllerist & mixing teacher DJ NAVID DIVANA (he/his) enchants the audience with tunes from the entire spectrum of genres and regions. Even within this limitless style he stands out with originality & experimentalism. Depending on the vibe of the event, he adjusts the width & scope of the musical spectrum. The groove can vary from very relaxed to highly bombastic; it respects the narrative and takes you on an unmistakable journey into both familiar territories as well as surprising new landscapes. "I never thought I would dance to THAT genre!", is something he often hears after the Ecstatic Dance sets. We will enjoy wild Navid during ceremonies, temples and a naked ecstatic dance set! For the past 7 years DJ SEFRIJN (he/his) musical focus has been Ecstatic Dance, catalysing this growing movement by playing at countless locations. DJ sets are always created in the moment, his music is carefully selected to offer diversity in genres, emotions and speed. Sefrijn is known for embodying the music behind the decks, dancing along and attuning to the people. As a classically trained pianist he combines technical musical knowledge with a deep love for intuitive improvisation. Expect world music mixed with electronics. Tribal infused percussion, booty shaking beats, shamanic sounds drawing you deeper into the dance, soft ambient, playful acoustic or meditative esoteric sounds.
